M42 to M50 swap??

I have a 92 318I and the motor runs decent but the butt head I bought it from lied to me and it needs about $2000.00 to be reliable and it is still only a 1.8l.

So long story short I bought a 2.5l and tranny and am about to put it in my car. So I was hoping anyone who has done this can give me some pointers on anything I may need to know, that only first hand experince can give you.

Are any of the assesory parts transplantable i.e (altenator ect )
And do I have to change the motor mounts or do they line up.\\

I am getting the engine computer but do I need the other computer that runs everything else?

you need the dme from the 2.5 otherwise your engine isnt going to run...
