    From what I heard you should only use silicone brake fluid on a track car. I guess it makes it a lot easier to get on the brakes, or maybe it doesn't work well with ABS?

    The article Rahul posted says "a number of racers go pale at the thought of using [silicone brake fluid]." Given the reasons outlined, I can understand why.

    Silicone doesn't play nicely with other brake fluids or ABS.

    I put it in my Austin Healey when I restored it and it was still a pain despite all new rubber in the brake system.

    Personally, I'll never use it again.
