Need some opinions on what the best Brake pad would be for everyday street use, something that has extremely low dust, noise-free if possible, and performs better than OEM. Mintex, Hawk, Axxis, etc? Any suggestions would help. Thanks!
I use "Hawk HPS" on the street and "Porterfield R4" for the track.

Axxis ultimates from cobalt friction seem to be a pretty good street pad so far.

Andie at Cobalt Friction and probably best diagnose your braking needs from light street ... to heavy track.
I've had OEM & Mintex ... I didn't like Mintex, too much dust (more than stock) and too much noise.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?
What Kevlar said.....
I discovered, that Axxis have much better stopping power than the OE and PBRs, but with my rotors they throw extreme amounts of dust. I've got ATE Power rotors. I'm not sure if they're better with other rotors. I've got a thread going on that in E36 Forums right now.
