Ci is a BMW coupe. Xi is a BMW 4WD. Si is an upgraded Honda Civic.

No, all 'i' are fuel injected gasoline cars while 'd' is deisal and 'h' is hydrogen. Back in the day (and probably well before you were even born) BMWs used carbs. The i was to signify the new fuel injected cars.
The letters depend on model of car, but for post part:
C is coupe (before i)
S is sport (BTW it normally comes AFTER the i, not before)
L is long wheel base (before or after, year depending)
X is all wheel drive (before)
t is compact, for the most part (can also be turbo, but hasn't been for years)
M? Hahaha.

Wikipedia is awesome.
If you look a bit further down on the wiki page, it tells you about BMW South Africa. Sounds pretty good...the first wholly-owned subsidiary of BMW...Did not realize that that is was such an important plant...

"I" before "E"
Except after "C"
Or sounds like an "A"
As in neighbor or... "no way".
“M” is the most expensive letter in the alphabet.

And a ragtop is called a "cabriolet" , french, because the german word had 12 syllables, the pressing question was always ,can you go "touring" in one, or even in a coupe or sedan, and diesels should be an "I", they were always fuel injected!
