I glared at it... (We've got a love hate relationship)
I turned the bulb-light key into a LED key. Used the soldering iron to enlarge the bulb hole as 5mm LED doesn't fit in the key I had. Took me awhile to figure out the direction of the LED then it took a while to hook it up but the finish product is very nice and illuminating.

So the amber fogs ive got (cadomain: Hella H3s for $25!! Great result for so cheap!!) dont last very long and it really ticks me off. Another one burned out last night so I laid on my hot drive (its 92 today!!) and changed the light . Oh well, they look really good tho! lol
I called and postponed our date.
I'll make a beast out of myself to get rid of all the pain of being a man...
Just put it in a JC chip and took it for 8 mile ride around the block. It sure seems to have gotten up to 75 quicker! Almost feels like an afterburner kicks in at about 3000 RPM! grin Didn't take it past 4300 yet. I've only had the car for 750 miles so probably not noticing all it's doing.
Install took 25 minutes, would take less than 15 minutes on second time, finding the spring clip on the CPU harness took a while to figure out and lining up the pins took some time.
I've had a F-250, Monte Carlo, Suburban, Camry, None of them got me any smiles from women, the Bimmer has gotten Plenty of them!

I made a mess of the front suspension. Ruined the outer ball joint trying to disconnect it from the strut to change out the springs and strut. Now, I have to replace the entire control arm! SUCKS! What should have been a 2-3 hour job will now take much longer and not even start until the parts come in probably 10 days.
Took it off the jack-stands its been on for the past week.
I drove my e30 today

Did compression tests on all the cylinders. 182k miles on the motor and the compression rates were within spec.
I'm wondering if the engine was rebuilt some time in it's past.

Totally missed it!
I'm 500 miles from home, and driving the Jetta for my wife's benefit (non-leather seats, less noise, more room, etc.), but I'm really jonesing for the E30.

Took the tires off the bottlecaps and put em on the basketweaves. Finally the car has all the sport stuff it should have had.

Yesterday I replaced the coil packs as one had gone south and the others looked like they were about to go (literally, you could see heat damage). The spark plugs got replaced as well.
Today I worked on my wide-band setup a little. I tidied up the wiring, and did a couple things I should have done form the get-go to avoid electrical issues. I will end up completely reinstalling the main harness for it this weekend I want to do it right (and not have to again). Do it once, do it right.....shoulda listened.
i removed the a/c, ordered a new single wiper and i pulled my passenger fender. only 3 more to go. metal fab with a roofing hammer ftw !
