Not today, but recently...replaced my oil pan bolt, which had stripped the pan's threads, with a single-oversized M12-1.50 bolt. Tough to find! Anyway, changed the filter and oil, of course.

If anyone wants to buy a single-oversized oil pan bolt, I had to buy a pack of 5, so the other four are for sale in the E30 classifieds.

Pulled the valve cover and fished out the end of a broken rocker arm.

    Head rebuild to commence shortly.

Today we put 'er up on jackstands, got under to have a good look (first time since I bought her a couple weeks ago), saw one of the diff seals has gone so it might be a good time to get that 3.73 LSD and swap now, and replace the seal in the 4.10 LSD and sell it. And I cleaned up the wheels really well but decided not to put them back on yet so we can get back under her easily.

The To-Do List keeps getting longer

Yesterday I re-cut my rear valence on my 318 for my m20 exhaust to fit properly, sprayed it with rustoleum to keep it from rusting, modified e36 exhaust mani gaskets to fit the m20 exhaust flange since I ordered the wrong part like a dummy, put the exhaust back on, raised the rear suspension of the car, fixed an oil leak, and switched my heater core hoses since i had them on backwards.

Today, I drove a little bit and enjoyed my work. Finally ready to move onto interior... after I fix a few little things inside the bay and re-align my hood.

Seriously isn't enough time in the day!

I just did the EXACT same thing tonight. Luckily Autozone had oversize bolts. The guy said they were probably items that he wasn't supposed to sell anymore because when he scanned it it showed up as $0.01. So I got it for free.

Cleaned the hell out of her. I had tons of leaves and trash in it. I took out like 10 water bottles, a shirt, some pants, 2 jackets, a whole lot of random papers, vacuumed it and washed it. Then I started to work on the E46 center console some more. Got it in to make sure it fits right, now I just gotta take it out and do some touch up work so I can paint it black, and then I'll get a new shift boot and ebrake boot and it should be good to go.

Dammit! I must have hit four or five AutoZones and Advanced Auto Parts stores before the guy looked it up in the book and it showed that the manufacturer didn't make M12-1.50's, so I had to find them from an alternate source. Lucky!

I'm near York, so probably about two hours.

I had to push start it after it had been sitting for 5 days.

What would i do if i didnt have to push start my addiction every now and then? I would lose my mind.

I also realized that after i drove an E36 M3 for 1000 miles over 5 days that my E30 is SEVERELY underpowered.

I am simply waiting for the timing belt to snap, just so i have an excuse to buy an S50.
