What did you do to your E30 today?

didnt do this to mine, but realized i forgot a bolt on the exhaust while pulling the head off an eta.

I go to junkyards to dissemble the cars, i part out the whole motor besides the block+mounts, and throw everything on the inside. lol. i think its kinda weird. is that weird? i gotta do the timing belt on mine, just gotta order the stuff.

Replaced my new cars waterpump and timing belt. then broke the hood doing 120 at the local abandoned airport.

Swapped the oil pan and fixed my brake fluid leak

took mine to a shop to try to figure out my over heating issues. i had them flush the radiator and vaccuum out the air bubbles. it turned out to be the fan clutch so they are replacing that tomorrow for me.

i also went to meet jordan at his salvage yard. i found a straight hood, lower bumper valence, and a 5 series foam spoiler. i am picking it all up tomorrow.

today was expensive!

grabbed a good driver's seat from the parts yard, by good it's functional and still comfortable without any major upholstery damage. then installed it.

then I installed some new kidneys, also from the parts yard (same car) because mine fell off while driving.

then I changed the oil.

replaced rear tail light to oem...I had the all clear euro ones on and i took out high beam and put in a funnel.

Sunday I put the new radiator in, bled it, took it for its first drive since being towed to the house. Brakes pulsed like you wouldn't believe.

Ordered rotors (cheap from partsgeek.com), bolts, bleeder screws.
Bought rear pads, sensors, fluid off of r3v.
Have front pads.
Ordering SS lines tonight.

So doing brakes this weekend.

New Years is here and i'm still working on getting this damn winter beater running right.

Installed a Stromung cat-back exhaust a few days ago. Yesterday I finally got off my ass and tried to fix an exhaust leak that I've had ever since I bought the car. Bought all new exhaust gaskets from Pelican and it ended up being a broken manifold-to-downpipe flange. I took out 3 bolts on one flange and before I even touched the other 3 the whole exhaust system fell.

Took it to an exhaust place that's done 3-4 systems for me in the past and the fixed it up good as new. No more exhaust leak and now I have all new gaskets and hangers.

Then tonight I just installed 19 lb injectors and my Mark D chip. We'll see if I notice any difference or not. *crosses fingers*
