Took it to the body shop yesterday for an estimate.
Currently have the AC controls out, trying to find out why the heater valve isn't getting a signal from the switches.
It rained today, so whooped the dog shit outta the E30.
Brake stands during lunch, and after dinner.
Not enough turns here on base though.

i came up with an idea today... what do you think?
thinking of doing window switch upgrade, but ill still have the window kill switch button hole...
why not use that space to add an integrated garage door opener... hmm what switch would work but still fit?
i thought it would look pretty cool myself...

today... i pulled a subframe and trailing arms from a 90 325i and installed them into a 91 318is. the 91 318is had a bent subframe. this process took 6 hours and two lifts
I put a good 250 hard driven miles on the e30 today.
And it just could not stop begging for more =)

I get to bring my new to me 91 vert home today. Bought it last week, but with all the snow and ice, the owner let me leave it in his garage till the roads were better
putting in e36 power steering. Apparently my old one has a huge chip out of it

Today, I put new front tires on my E30. BFGoodrich traction t/a's.

Replaced my interior with Cardinal.
E30 is so sexy now at Zinnoberot with Cardinal Interior. Red on Red
Priced out bits for a cooling system rebuild. The little beast sprung a leak up under the intake and I figure that the wisest course would be to do the whole thing. Anything made of plastic or rubber that touches coolant is leaving...including the radiator, which doesn't leak but is original. The WP is staying, tho' - PO changed that a year ago. Lots and lots of weird little hoses...

drove her, windonws down, sunroof at the tilt. one hand on the steering wheel, the other on her shifter. mmmmmm mmmmmmm.
Well, first I bought it, then started to replace the water pump and timing belt. BTW thanks for the info on the "headset" wrench for the fan clutch. Worked like a charm.
Replaced the injector O rings because they started to leak when the temperature was -4 degrees F tonight! ALso replaced all of the rubber fuel lines, and replaced the fuel filter. Eliminated the pulsation dampner too. +1 horsepower y0!!!!
Took out my subs because i need space in the trunk to move all my shit down to college. Put in new rubber floormats too!
Took her on a no destination drive.
