Air Temp vs Pad Sensor Connection

Hi, I'm just sorting some things and noticed there are no brake pad sensors, not a problem but I'd like the dash light off. I see both of the harness ends (FL & RR) are zip tied up out of the way.

I plan to get some old old pad sensors, cut and join the wires, and then connect them to the harness so the circuit is closed/lights out.

However I'm not sure if the front left harness connector is for the Brake Pad Sensor or the Ambient Air Temp Sensor (that fit in the brake duct) as they look to have the same connector. Anyone know if I've got this right and how to tell which harness end goes to which sensor?

In the image 1. is what appears to be the Pad sensor connector, although will also plug into Ambient Air Temp sensor. I'm not sure what 2. is, but it's a two pronged connector.

trace the harness from the calipers back up to those connectors.

As I mentioned there are no brake pad sensors, no wiring to the brakes to trace.

the pad sensor only goes a short ways. it connects to a harness on the strut. that harness should still be there.

there is also a connector under the hood if the strut harness is missing. you can short it at the connector with a simple jump wire.

Thanks, but the wires are pulled back into the engine bay and zap strapped, that's why I can't figure out which connection it goes to.

it's easy to find the one on the passenger side. it's the only connector on that side. the drivers side mirrors the location closely, so you can probably figure it out from there.
