110mph nice big trap speed. i can only get 106 with my eurospec.

LOL!, pump gas 93oct (no advantage with race gas on stock comp, with conservative timing) 245-45-17 nitto NT 555r, if u think about it our trap(110mph) should be better for the time (12.6), fishforlife did a 12.9 @ 109.18 mph, more tuning/testing, it would be embrassing to run a 12.6 with a shot of nos, no drugs here we're high on fresh air, N/A,

i can only muster a 106. should i get out and push more??? i guess my lardass mass dont help things. will be interesting if morerevsm3 can get to the track now his car is abit ligher in weight

The Euro has 1 weakness just like the e46. Its called torque. My US spec motor makes to the wheel in torque what you make to the crank. Well not exactly but not too far off. I also make more power.
I went E-Town Raceway Park yesterday to rur a 12.4sec 1/4mile. Unfortunately I broke the car on the line again. Second time in a row. I broke off one side of the diff cover. I have solid bushings in the diff cover. I continued down the track anyway car was vibrating alot. I ran a 13.2@107. I threw out the timeslip I was very upset. 14psi in the tires launch at 4500 rpm. I'm looking for 15" kosei k1 for the rear any ideas where i can find this?

The Euro motor maybe better overall but it is my understanding that itb's make less torque and more horse power. The odb1 US spec makes less torque due to the intake runner length and size vs the odb2. I ran the 12.6 with long intake runners. I knew it would be difficult to run 12s with a heavy car without good torque. I think itbs would hurt my torque output.
autotragic's accepted?
got 6 runs in. my car has KN drop in/debaffled air box/custom magnaflow exhaust. i cannot verifiy is my car has a DINAN tranny chip, so take that into account.
my worst run was 15.239@93.96. left the ASC and on it crippled me with a 2.5 60'.
my best run was 14.712@95.89 with a 2.246 60'. i dont have a scanner but heres how the slip reads:
R/T...124
60'...2.246
330...6.289
1/8...9.501
1/8 mph....75.01
1000...12.330
1/4...14.712
mph...95.89
to my suprise even my auto has a hard time putting the power down off the launch. i power-braked it to about 2000RPM and then just hammered it. the result was wheel spin in first, and a heathly bark into second.
no matter how i launched the car, it spun first. it sounds odd but with drag radials i could easily get a 2.0 or 1.9 60' and rip off a 14.3-14.4 easy. it was about 75-80 outside and rather humid, and the car really never got a chance to cool down. it felt heatsoaked, as i sat in traffic and within 10 min made a pass down the strip.
on a cooler engine with DR's i honestly feel that it could run a 14.2 with ease.

I ran a 14.6 at Maple Grove this past Saturday. Didn't think it was anything impressive but saw it was quicker than other times you have listed. link to my thread with specifics, video, and slip here...
thanks, i get alot of hate, but hey mid 14's from a 116k auto m3 aint that bad. i do plan on a trans swap though, so it wont be a bastard for much longer.
all the auto hate has come as a challenge to me. id like to see a auto m3, on stock gearing run door to door with a 5sp from a dig. i can hang in there with my bro's 96 M3/2/5 pretty decent, in fact theres no difference from a roll between us.
im going later next month, and i plan on lower psi in the rears, a quick spin to get the tires cleaned off. that should help me net a 2.0 60' and a 14.4ish e.t i think. its getting cooler, so i think that the car has 97ish traps in it too. its just kinda fun to go the track and just have to worry about the launch. ya its slower, but its deadly consistant.
What are the mods on that car going 12.6s? Did I miss somthing or he never posted it
For every .1 lost in the 60' times, how much will the quarter mile time improve? I just need to cut a 1.9-2.0 60' so I can be in the low 13's...
For ever 0.1 you improve your short time, you can project a .15 to .25 improvement in ET.

Pretty amazing motor in that car, even more amazing that it was full weight and a sedan (as far as the vette driver saw it)... How much power do you put down?
Best time, bone stock but without the spare in the trunk:
14.330 @ 96.57mph 2.155 60', my first and my best run.
I decided to yank my air filter out for that little extra for a 14.2 slip but instead started losing power, my trap speed started going down from 96 to 94 throughout the night. I had a slightly faster 60' time on my last run (2.146) but ended up with 14.639@95.09mph. Check engine light came on the following day. Cleaned the MAF, car seemed to pull much harded but CEL is still on. I could definitely improve the launch as well.

Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't, you're right!
Hmm, Jworms runs without a MAF as well....
Fishforlife, put me on your list. Here's a thread on my run with my e36 325

Mods: stockish. 2980lbs. I need to lose more weight but can't give up my heated seats etc. Stock LSD FTW. 11/18/08: Need to reweigh with much lighter coilovers.
The faster cars in here are not stock. Who says that they make 240 hp either? My S52 with just an intake was making 230 horsepower to the wheels. You aren't taking into account what weight reduction has been done either. My car weighs as much as a GSR integra right now, mid to low 2700's and fishforlife's car is rivaling a 90's civic hatch as far as weight...
