Thumbs up 328iS to M3 Suspension Swap

I have a question about swapping my ’98 328iS suspension for the M3 version.

Do I need anything else besides what is in this list to do a complete swap? Also, is it a direct fit?

    2 front m3 calipers left/right
    2 brake lines
    a set pads
    a set rotors
    2 m3 spindels
    2 bearings left/right
    2 m3 top shock mounts
    2 m3 camber plates left/right
2 m3 link bars from strut to sway bar.
    2 front struts
    2 front springs
    2 back springs

    Thanks in advance!

I researched this over and over again. I have a m3 suspension out in the garage. Im just going to swap to koni's or something else that is direct. Good luck though like to see how it turns out for you.

Cosmos V2 CAI, M50 manifold swap + sharked, Bilstein Sports, CF strut brace, M3 control arms + 95 offsets, Tinted windows, 18 inch breyton rims, 6000k Hid with thin line angel eyes, clears all the way around

Up next - Cams and Clutch
Then hopefully LSD and SC, maybe even squeeze a whole tear down and rebuild in Yea That is what i want.

I've looked at my car side-by-side with an M3 and it looks as though I have to use everything in the above list to make the conversion. I wouldn't think that tie-rods would have an effect on the M3 set up...

So, that's it? No one else has tried this?

not many have that was some of my problem. Try your dealer they gave me a good list of stuff i needed when i was still going to do it.

Just so you people know, the list above is all you need to do the swap. Everything from the M3 suspension that you replace will fit up with your stock suspension that you aren't replacing.

Most of the hardware is also interchangeable, although...I'd splurge the 30 bucks and get some new nuts and bolts if you were to try the swap. Overall, it took about 8 hours to do...this was taking my time and hitting a snag along the way. You could probably have it done in 4-5 hours with hand tools if you've worked on suspension before.
