Thumbs up DIY - Changing X3 transfer case fluids

I can't take credit for this, I found it on another site. I thought you guys may like it.

    ----
Here are some instructions that i put together for the X drive transfer case, front and rear diff case fluid change on a 2004 X3..and i am pretty sure this would be useful for any of the 'X' cars

directions are pretty general and assumes that the DIYer have some basic knowledge of tools etc etc.

hope this is useful for others

Clarification needed: How many bottles of the Xdrive transfer case fluid do you need? One only?

They have a "9" in there... 9 times $40/ea would be daunting!

The DIY says: "The X drive transfer case uses the BMW fluid part # 83 22 0 397 244 usually about $60 at the dealership
($40 online) 9 bottle is all you need"

BTW, thanks for sharing the DIY!!!
