The point I was trying to make is that you called him out for putting M3 wheels on his car and them not being functional, where if you thought about it, you would know why larger wheels ARE functional. Sorry if I sounded harsh, but I figured since your car is all kitted out for the track, you could understand why someone would want to replace their stock 15"s.
But whatever. It's his car, and he can do what he want, and we're all entitled to our opinions...
I want to buy your Nikon 80-200mm F/2.8 AF-D (Two-Ring) lens! Let me know.

The Red one is pretty hardcore
Good to see that non-M cars get some loving too!
Here are a few of my car:
NOTE: My 17" Radial Spoke 73 wheels have pretty oversized tires in these pics (compared to stock bottlecaps). My car sits alot lower since I put the bottlecaps back on. I will get the proper sized tires when I replace what came on my 17"s.
Bottlecaps back on (Sorry for terrible camera phone pics)
what kind of lip is that?
eBay...its Polyurethane though. I have scraped on many-a-driveways but it has yet to even get a scratch on it.
Probably the best thing I have ever gotten from eBay.
it looks really good

Nice!
Do you have camber plates or something?
My coils only have one thread left, but I also have stock-style upper mounts that have a slight camber increase. I wonder if plates would lower it a little and allow me to bring the perch up a bit.
Been looking at Vorshlag plates like I have for my E30.

Hmm..I wonder what tire size he is running....
Stock bcaps are 205/60/15 I know, and my 17" RS73's came with 205/50/17 (too big)...
Probably going to get 215/45/17 to match the stock height, and get 225/50/15 for the bcaps for auto-cross use.
Yo Hodge, could you by any chance find out the name of your lip? That thing is hot and is exactly what I'm looking for.
Here is my car, the Montreal Blue, and some random white E36 parked behind me.
