What is the diffrence between the 328i m52 flywheel and the m3 s52 flywheel? REALOEM shows them as diffrent part numbers... Anyone?

GG//M3, thanks for the tip. They answered my question. I wanted to fill this in for when someone does a search. I hate searching and finding so many posts that never were answered.
The s52 pressure plate is much more diffrent then the m52s pressure plate, so the two cannot be interchanged (mabie with ALOT of work, but you can pick one up for arround $100). The s50 will not interchange with either as it is a diffrent size then the m/s52 engines. It could work if you use the 328 clutch pack, but not as stong as the m3.

Just to clairify, you can swap the S50 and S52 flywheels. I'm running an S52 flywheel in my 95.

Ok to clarify all the M/S 50/52 flywheels are interchangeable. Only thing is if you put an M3 flywheel on a 3 series you also have to use the M3 clutch thats it. S 50/52 flywheels accommodate for a larger diameter clutch

Yes for the pressure plate too same bolt pattern. We are talking s50/552 only. Obviously the M and S flywheels will have different pressure plate bolt patterns due to the smaller clutch.
Why don't you post what are you trying to accomplish and we will tell you what you need.
