I'm thinking about buying an exhaust, but I don't know what's out there... what exhaust sounds the best/performs the best? Could you also provide me with a URL? Thanks in advance.

    If I may .....

    Triflo baby! I love it!

....but others to consider are Supersprint (quietest), Remus (a little louder, a little bassier, etc.), AA (agressive and nasty without the low-end slam of the Triflo), Stromung, Mozart (called the loudest, with the plus side of being the absolute cheapest @$300), Brullen (also been called the loudest). Borla makes one too, sounds damn nice, heard it on a 98 M3 the other night. Very loud.

Hope this helps. I say get the Triflo, and let that M3 sing. One note, though, with a Triflo, you lose all stealth capabilities as everyone will hear you coming.

I vote for the AA unit. I love it.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

    Nice!

The UUC sounds great from outside, and isn't intrusive at all inside the cabin.

Some more Triflo from outside, and some inside the cabin. It was warm today and the B&B sounded obnoxious, but that's part of the attraction. The Triflo definitely isn't for everyone, but it was the only one for me!

I've noticed other exhaust topic posts, which have links to audio files. Considering the interest in exhaust sound, I vote that the moderators create a special topic just for sound links.

I will vote for the B&B triflow, they sound and perform the best.
