Everything on my OBC seems to work as it should but I just went on a business trip and drove around 75 mph most of the way there but when I press the AVG MPH button it gave a reading of like 22.5 mph. Do I need to reset this somehow so it provides an accurate reading. Not really a big deal if it does not work but I would sure like it to. Any clues?
Reset it... It averages the speed of the car for anytime the car is running.

How does one go about resetting it? What does the other button on the dash cluster do the one near the RPM gauge. I don't have my Bentley or owner's manual handy.

Press the AVG MPH button then press the S/R (Start/Reset) button on the top right corner.

Cool, thank you. Love the photo with the angel eyes and fogs on, it looks downright mean!

Remember your Algebra. Average MPH is Total Miles divided by Total Hours. You need to reset the totals to zero at the beginning of the trip, and your new average for the trip will be displayed.

...a train leaves Boston heading west at 65 MPH...at the same time a train leaves L.A. heading east at 75 MPH...Jimmy the Engineer of the Boston train just knocked up his Boss' wife...How much does Jimmy wish his train traveled faster...

Yea. One of my stalled projects due to other things being important. =/
The OBC AVG MPH is nice up to a point with trips. Once your on the highways, yes. Once your in the commute of a city stop and go, you can check what you did from there.
