Door Lock

This is a really stupid/simple question but I have no idea....

So I'm missing the "face" of the key hole on the drivers side door. Is replacing this as simple as just buying the part and snapping it on there? And what's the name of the part?

If you would have had more details about your car (model year etc.) I could have linked you directly to the part database...so I'll have to do the 2nd best thing for you...give you a link to the database...and you'll have to look up the part yourself. :)

You'll find the door lock cylinder parts under BODYWORK (main group) FRONT DOOR (sub group)..then scroll down to the appropriate diagram and click on it...it will then open in an exploded view with all the BMW part nbrs etc below the diagram: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do
