hey guys, i just bought a 2008 335xi. i was wondering if there was a way to take the all wheel drive off when you want to, the guy at the dealer was tellin me the button on the bottom that has the car goin down the hill will do it if your like offroading or some shit. but can you just drive around with that on? does it really just give you rear wheel drive? i understand the dtc if u hold it for a few seconds it will take your traction off completely but that wont give you just rear wheel drive. this might be a stupid question but the guy at the dealer told me it would put it in only rear wheel thats why i was asking. thanks

Here is the link to the BMW site re the all wheel drive:
However it does not say what the power distribution is under normal driving conditions.
