Anyone heard this before?

So i start my car as usual.. than for the first time, I heard this beeping sound.:confused. I swear i thought i had a bomb strapped on my car :eyecrazy. I let it run for a minute than shut if off. I Started the car again and the same sound came. "Beep Beep". What the heck is going on? I've owned this car for almost 1 year and i have never heard this before. I always turn off my stereo when i turn off the car and I haven't done anything to my car that would make sounds like that. Anyone know what this is? I checked for cell phones, other electronic items in the car but nothing.

It could be that your head gasket is about to go out. Thats the headgasket failure warning beep.

Its the temperature warning. You probably have a broken external temperature sensor. Does you OBC flash -27 when you start the car and then it bings to warn you of freezing temps. That or it could be a unicorn warning.

you have turned on your memo function or your temp sensor is broken or the out side temp was lower than 37F.

Or there is really a bomb under your seat.....

IIRC, it chimes at every hour to remind you to listen to your radio for Top of the hour news..!

In Europe the radio station have hourly news reports at the top of the hour including autobahn traffic updates. Easier to slow from 240kmh when you know there is an accident ahead.

I think you can set it to beep at any particular time not just top of the hour, but I forogot how...
