Ok so here's the deal -

My mother came in town for the weekend in her E90 325 and has been driving home today.

I just got a call from her at a gas station and she locked her keys in the car. Is there anyway to get inside the car without getting a tow to the dealership??

:help:help

:ponderHow do you lock the car with out the key fob? When you lock it from the inside you won't be able to get out without unlocking the door you use to exit.

Unless she locked it in the trunk, this is a hoax.

Open door, hit lock button inside car, get out, close door.

Don't know if it works on bimmers but that's how i've gotten locked out of any car I've locked myself into.

Not unless you do it from the passenger side. Can't lock if driver side is open/opened.

Unless she locked it in the trunk, this is a hoax. When I was trying to restart my instrumental cluster by disconnecting the battery, which didn't work, I closed the trunk. The battery was disconnected so there was no way to open that damn thing. I was so lucky I didn't lock my doors lol. It was only possible to get the trunk open by getting a jump start from the secondary battery connections under the hood. I can only imagine how I would've felt if my doors/ keys where locked in with out the battery being connected :mad

My wife did it, so it's possible. There are areas of the truck that the sensor can't read, so if you put the key off to the side or way up front, the trunk will lock.
