I just bought a new 335I Coupe

MY God am I excited!!!!

Just traded my old faithful E39 97 540i in on a new 08 335i Coupe...really was not planning on buying a 3 series. I was going to order a 135 but.....my dealer had just had a customer CANCEL an order for a sparkiling grey with beige coupe, LOADED, because has wanted to change color but the car had already hit the ground!

No way the dealer could sell this baby out here with ALL of the options.

I just happened to be at the dealership when this thing arrived (earllier than expected) when the customer refused the car...I fell inlove witht he color combo and made a deal with the dealer AND the guy who backed out

Hang on.....52K car....$46,000.0...UNDER invoice!...PLUS I had just attened the kick off party for the M3 and 135 cars party a week ago and had won a Certificte good for $1000.00 in service or $1000.00 of "your best deal" Whipped out the Cert and my dealer almost shit! He had completely forgotten he had gave one of those away at the party!

Sooooo...52K car....45K out the door! I am a happy guy....broke but happy!

Whoa, You should be ecstatic over the low price you were able to get, got my fully loaded 08 for $48,000 and a $50- gift certificate. Enjoy it, this machine is the best, to date, for me and I have had 9 new cars in the last 12 years, Audi's, Acura, Infintiti

My 97 540i (non-sport) had 154k miles on her Great mechanically but the body DId have a few nicks and scratches.....Dealer gave me 7K trade...I do believe that had someone who wanted the car. Probabaly OK price for my old 540..I am REALLT gonna miss that car!

Paid cash 42K - 7K =35K cash

900 miles left to go before I can play!!!

That is pretty low. I got as much for my 97 318ti with 130K miles, private sale, but still! They made their money on the 540 IMO. Anyway, it is just money, enjoy the new car and congrats.
