1st) I was Cuckoo for Coco puffs on the 135i.... then the redonkuclous base price + only 200lbs lighter than the 3 I started to sulk :(
2nd) Then I thought about the 335i sedan (I'd like to have 4 doors for potential kid on the way), but the styling was just BORING.
3rd) Iteration, settle on the the 335i coupe. Meh... I just wasn't 100%
FINALLY 4th) iteration I think it's all starting to "click" now that I found out you can get the Aero package from the factory.... :redspot

For comparison for those who don't know wtf I'm talking about:
Stock E90 w/ Sport Pack

Aero which adds new more aggressive front/rear bumpers and side skirts... now THIS is what I was looking for! :cool

That, with some 5% tint, + some sportier looking 18s, +changing out the interior wood to Light Grey Poplar (not a f'n option on the Sedan) and I'd be rollin phat. :redspot

Oh yes... the Mike will have this.... mark his words!!!!

Honestly, do you really find that that much difference between stock vs. aero package? I find that the difference is really subtle. Ask any non-BMW enthusiast and he/she probably can't tell a difference. You would need to change rims and lower the car to make a really drastic change in overall appearance.

I think the front scoop below the grill looks more aggressive and, for me anyway, is very noticeable. But I don't think a non-BMW owner or non-aficionado would notice.

I agree about the ride height being a factor. But my coupe w/ Sport pkg is already too stiff for the wife. It's actually borderline for her and she (thankfully) doesn't complain about it, but if I went any stiffer on springs and I might not hear the end of it. I did that on my last car and we started taking hers when we went out because she didn't like riding in mine. :(

Yes, I can easily tell the difference and it makes a world of difference (in my eyes) :)

I spent $1600 to have the side modelings shaved on my 05 Accord Sedan.... so yeah, I'm weird like that.

I like the 'subtle' yet different styling... not the IN YO FACE I gots after market style :)

Well shiat... I guess Gray Poplar is out of the question for the E90....

LUCKILY there's a company that is selling Carbon Fiber 8 piece replacements... to the tune of $675 :sulk:

Oh well, would look killer me thinks

I didn't care for that aero package...the side skirts are negligible...you can't even notice them and as for the rear, I don't think it looks nearly as agressive, it reminds me of the back of a Jeep Grand Cherokee...I don't like gray plastic panels on painted cars, they look unfinished...you lose the dual exhaust in all that mess too...it isn't as distinctive.

How much are they charging for the aero package? I agree that only the front air damn is worth it looks wise, the rest is redundant esp on a black or dark colored car. Maybe you can get the front bumper for much cheaper aftermarket.

$1250 + Paint / Labor. I think you can get just single pieces from the after market suppliers.

Here are some more pics shamelessly stolen from M3This over on E90post, granted he's slammed, on wheels, front lip extender, and rear trunk lid amoung other things but you can see the Aero package better :)

I think a white car with some dark tinted windows and a few chrome and black lines on the exterior with some pimped out wheels can look HOT.

Ok WOW, I typed that last post before seeing these pics... Now THIS is a case where black rims looks good imo... NICE. I actually like that black underside coming up in the back end. It makes it look less "all one big mold" like.
