Glass is different from one to the other and water is getting in the casing and shorting and blowing the lamps?
There is a ton of variables.

I'm assuming its high resistance or lack of resistance somewhere since one is significantly brighter than the other. Just thought it might have been a common problem since these cars suck for wiring.

Are you sure the bulb that's lasting is the same kind as the one that keeps blowing out? I don't know if that might be factor or not.

Yea, when i bought the car one fog was out, so i replaced it, realized it was brighter than the old one, so i thought the old one was going out. I went out and bought a new one for the dull side and it didn't change anything, then about a week later the bright bulb went out again.

My guess is frayed wires.

Switch the bulbs around, if the problem persists, then the bulbs aren't at fault - clean your connectors, put some di-electric grease in there and see if that fixes it, if not, start tracing your fog light wiring back into the main harness and see if you can spot any worn insulation or cracks in it.
