im in the middle of installing my euro 6 speed and i have run into a snag . i have a euro driveshaft that has a 6 bolt flange and i have a 4 bolt flange . i was told i could use the front half of the euro driveshaft with the back half of mine and i would have the correct length . my problem is the 2 driveshafts connect differently . mine driveshaft uses a sleeve that threads on . the euro driveshat uses a bolt to hold the 2 halves together . does anyone know how to mate the back half of my driveshaft to the front half of the euro

Why dont you just convert your diff flange over to a 6 bolt and shorten the drive shaft?

Can you post some pics of the two drive shafts at least, especially with the center splined parts.

here is what I did with my euro 6-speed swap....
I used the euro drive shaft and just changed the diff flange to the 6 bolt variety, I purchased the flange from some one on BF.c(I forget who) for $50 I think, and then your done!!!
I would not even bother trying to mix and match driveshaft pieces, that way you can sell the trans and 5-speed driveshaft to a auto swap person and get some $$$ back

Not to mention each driveshaft was balanced independently of each other, you can;t just mix and match and expect everything to be flawless...
