Single angel eye in each light?

Hi, I have some problems with my angel eyes on my Depo's, one of the rings is dead, i've checked the ballast and it's dead too. I don't get any answer from the online shop from whom I've ordered them.

Anyway I would like to have your thoughts and maybe a pic..

How would it look if I plug only the outer ring on each light?

no uncle ben, city lights. The small 5w bulbs in the bottom of the high beam housing. You wire it into the parking light, so they come on instead of the corner light when the headlights or fog lights are on

but the thing is that I don't have control over the driving lights, I can't drive with the lights off, so what's the point of the city lights?

don't drive around with just two angel eyes working. it looks terrible. order a new halo ring or ballast. i had a broken halo ring and bavtoys just sent me another for free.

Actually clears don't look good on the front of any color E36, since the headlights are really dark... makes the clears really stand out. Either stick with ambers or smoked corners, which I actually have but am thinking of switching back to ambers.

My car comes from Florida..

well the low beams should definitely not Always be on.. you can turn them off or should be able to drive around with no lights

Is the fact that I have an automatic gearbox change something?

because I really don't see why I can't drive without any lights on..

It would probably look about the same, but without the outer ring. Just a guess.

Thats not how the car came from the factory. The lights normally only turn on with the headlight switch. Maybe someone did a daytime running light conversion or something. Otherwise you have a problem with your electrical system.

well I don't get any answer..

I had a vendor that just blew me off after they sent 2 pairs of elipsoids (halos installed) to me with a broken lense or broken mounting tabs... The 3rd pair was in generally good shape, but one halo was cracked... On the final set, halos weren't even the color or style that I asked for, so I just ripped them out and ate the cost. Unfortunate because it's probably the best known and longest running lighting vendor for the board.

As for a matter of opinion/taste... In the end, I probably would have torn the halos out anyway. And I guess that was the point I was trying to get to in the first place, that I'd suggest just wiring up the city lights like others have suggested.

On a separate note, I couldn't be happier with the service and products I've received from DDM Tuning. :cool

i have only have the 2 outer halos that work now but it look fine to me becuase when the light is on u cant see those rings any ways,

If you dont want city lights, just remove the bulb
