My wife's Mini was banged up by a neighbor who was careless about backing up.

I picked up a new battery for the E34 as well as a Battery Tender. This will be fun to drive it after all this time.

Did you do anything to store it? Blocks etc. I would be tempted to change the coolant and oil pretty quick as both will eat the inside of your engine otherwise..:(

I'll change both this weekend.

People dont like the paint damage on my roof - which I recently discovered isnt simply oxydation. I will probably have it resprayed. I dont know. For now, it is serving its purpose as an emergency car. I just need to drive it once in a while. If someone makes me a reasonable offer, I'll take it but I will only give it away as a tax deduction and not on a sale.

You own a 540i6 and haven't driven it since then? What is wrong with you? Haha

I had a massive groin injury in OCtober and couldnt drive anything that required too much physical activity.

This is the internet, we all have a massive groin here, even the girls.

You should be able to get more for it in a private sale than the tax writeoff would be.

Just keep using it as an emergency car.

Fresh gas couldn't hurt, old stuff is easy to drain.

if you weren't so far, you can't find a good E34 for sale here in NY.

All I gotta say is WOW.

That was fun.

I was going to rent a car but I think I will drive this to work this week.

Its a great looking car and the rims really set if off apart from the rest of the E34s out there. I think anyone who comes out to see this car will really put less emphasis on the paint issues once they see and drive it.

Hey - they cut me open for a hernia surgery and groped around under my gut for an hour then a month later, they cut my nut sack open. No horsebackriding for a while.

TMI..... That sucks though.

I'm kind of in the same boat as my sciatic nerve is pinched at the moment in my lower back, so no manuals for a while. It even hurts to sit down....

The old man comfort seats help alot. I am enjoying this thing for now. Too bad the paint on the roof and bumpers is so bad. I may take it to my body shop and see how much they will charge me for a solution.
