Is painting a front bumper super hard? it seems like it would be. DIY?

its not hard...as long as you know what your doing, and prep is everything....I've painted three cars in my lifetime so far, and I guess they're right when they say third time's a charm

I would suggest you talk to a guy at dupont, read sevearal write-up on body prep...and don't forget that resin you add to paint so it can flex with your bumper if it ever hits anything.

The warmer months are always good to paint and also find a scrap of metal to get your motions down correctly (remember you should always be perpendicular to the piece your painting.

it depends. youll probably be better off dropping the part at a shop.

youll end up spending more on equipment, gun, paper, paints and time, trying to do it yourself.
you can probably save a few bucks if you prep the bumper before you drop it off at the shop.
