Hey guys, i have just recently replaced the MAF boot (the hose attached to the exhaust manifold) and after doin so, the car is now not starting...
So heres my question, what would you guys try if your car wasnt starting?
1. Change the ICV/ ICV hose (since if it does start it dies at idle)
2. Change spark plugs? then wire harness?
3. Any other suggestions?
M30's don't have a MAF. Did you do a MAF conversion?
ICV will usually cause a bad idle.. but it would start
Plugs? ehh.. how was it running before?
Wire harness? Do you mean spark plug wires?
Check for vacuum leaks.. can often happen when working in that area.

(the hose attached to the exhaust manifold)
:confused
I assume you mean intake manifold. +1 on vacuum leaks, and doublecheck all hose connections. On mine, the vacuum line plug in the valve cover hose is pretty weak and prone to leaking. Duct tape fixed that, mhm. :)

Ok guys so how would i check for vacuum leaks?
How do i get the sparkplugs nearest to the firewall out?
Also, the wire connectors to the distributor from the spark plugs are on tight, do i just pull hard to get them off?
