Just did a little road trip this weekend. Went from Myrtle to Atlanta to visit family, 350 miles each way. Did it in under 6 hours and got 30 MPG from my 97 328...not even 2 full tanks! Love my e36!


Worst part is it still cost me about 80-90 bucks becuase of ridiculous gas prices...even in the south! :eek:

I took my car on a 6 hour drive to Ohio once. Never again. My back and neck hurt for 2 weeks, lol. The roads are smoother in the south though.

Yeah i would imagine southern roads are smoother, the harsh winters here in Iowa destroy brand new roads within 2 years. And make the already existing ones ride worse than gravel. I bent one of winter rims on a pothole in iowa with a tire profile of 55.

i took my car 500mi - 8hrs each way- to Pittsburgh in January. The whole trip, including 3-4 days of driving while there was not even 3 tanks. The only negitive was a rock cracked my windshield :mad
