BMW Assist "MyInfo" on 2009 models with idrive

Does anyone on here know about the Google feature offered on BMW's with idrive? It is supposed to be offered on the 2009 models with BMW Assist.

I was wondering if you owned an 08 model with idrive and BMW assist if this could be as simple as a software upgrade.

You are supposed to be able to send Google map directions to your car via your computer. If anyone knows anymore about this new feature, I would like to here about it..

...MyInfo is not a retrofit for 2008 as it requires BMW's upgraded telemetry for 2009.
