Engine Help!!!

Ok guys looks like i need a rebuild.:( Oil on the spark plugs is the first symptom.

So first question. Would it be cheaper to source a new engine? Where could i find one?

or should i just do a rebuild? My mechanic said it could cost up to $7000 to do a rebuild the right way and replace everything.

I dont think you need a new engine. Im not a BMW tech and i havent seen your car but sounds like you need a valve cover gasket. The oil in the spark plug holes is usually fixed by replacing the valve cover gasket, like i said i could be wrong. Do some more research about it.
