I was considering getting the Eibach Sport spring kit for my E36 328i, but I had a few questions before going through with it.
1st, if I lower the car, won't I need to adjust the camber of the car?
2nd, the "101 Performance Projects For Your BMW 3 Series" states that the only adjustment that can be made is on the front toe-in/out. Does this mean I need to add camber plates when lowering the car?

on the stock car you can only adjust toe-- when I first lowered my car with Bilstein/H&R sport package the camber was still in spec, the packagelowered the car about 1.5 inches-- however when I went the PSS9 and lowered the car a little more I needed camber plates-- the camber plates also allow castor adjustment which helps the driveability--
I wouls swap the sustension -use the stock hats and get it alligned- determine at that point if you need more adjustment.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
Now that scares me, though. The last time I had the car aligned the alignment tech was poking around under the rear end.

Under the reat there is a slight camber adjustment and more importantly the thrust angle is adjuster there-- thrust angle is bassically rear toe and to keep the rears tracking with the front-- you only need to mess with that if oyu remove the lower control arms. you do not remove them for a shock / spring replacement.
