So I'm gettin my DSII's powder coated and to finish it off I want to push the wheels out a little. Can anyone tell me what a good size spacer would be for the stock wheels? pics maybe? Thanks for your help

H&R 5 or 10mm would look appropriate. Anything more would look retarded IMHO

I also started a wheel spacer thread a couple of weeks back but didn't get too much feedback. I'm going tomorrow to roll my fenders and will probably be going with 5mm front and either 5mm or 10mm in the rear. We're going to try different ones and see what looks better and hopefully I won't rub. If you're just guessing it'll be a hit or miss. Your wheel offset and drop will play a major roll in this as well. My question still stays and hasn't been answered: are the wheel spacers unsafe in anyway even if used with appropriate bolts and properly torqued? OP can you post some upclose pics?

10mm up front and 5mm in the rear should work fine. I run 18mm in the front with 265mm wide tires and it doesn't rub. In the rear I run no spacer and 265mm tires and the fenders had to be rolled aggressively to clear the tires. My tires are pretty much flush with the sheetmetal. Looks sick, but its pure function for me. Hope this helps.

Well like I said your offset and your drop affects how wide you can go, I dunno what wheels you're running and what suspension, but with that wide of tires and 18mm spacers you don't rub :confused
I'm running BBS RGRs 18x8.5 all around and with H&R race coilovers down pretty much all the way I only have about a finger if not less of space. I'm not sure how much more room I'll free up rolling the fenders. I would think 5-10mm?

While this is not a spacer Q per se I do have a rubbing Q. Im on H&R sports and rolled fenders in the rear. You guys think 255/40/17's will rub. Im getting a sick deal on the tires but dont wanna spend it if it wont work

How are you so low in the rear with only sports? And if you rub now assuming you have narrower tires you'll definitely rub more with wider tires.

I dunno Ive never been able to figure that out either. They dropped the rear of my car alot. Heres a full sized pic:

And I dont rub now. Im running 235/45/17 winter tires. But my summer rears are worn to the threads. Those are 245/40/17 and I dont rub those either.

I think you forgot to post the pic. The only thing I can think of is those cup things that go underneath your springs were taken out, looks like you're nearly tuckin the wheel on sports :eyecrazy post that pic again.

Wow nice pic, you're not as low as it looked in your sig but still pretty damn low for sports. So you're trying to go 255, as long as it fits how your car sits, when you hit bumps and dips and stuff the angle your suspension goes up is most likely going to clear the fenders but it's really hard to tell from just a picture.

I figure that it should fit (albeit snugly), considering that with the taller sidewall (45 instead of 40) i have about 2 fingers of room in the rear, and the only time I rub is when theres 2ppl in the back and i go over a pretty decent sized dip.

Are you lowered or stock height? If you're stock height then those number looks good, I would try 10 all around and maybe even 10 in the rear and 12+ in the front.

if your front DSII's are 7.5, id do a 12mm front and a 5 out back assuming the rears ar e8.5

5mm on my friends vw golf were almost unnoticeable, I say 12mm front and 10mm rear, but it's up to you.

I bought 10mm all around, and they are staggered

Nice, I just got back from the shop and the most we could fit on mine was 3mm front and 5mm rear, the RGRs offset is pretty aggressive.
