330X and Turanza RFTs

I was extremely unhappy to realize that a large part of the noise was part of the turanza component. Thanks to the members of the group for educating me on this.
I (after being notified that the wear indicators were showing) changed to Continental RFTs and am really pleased about the noise issues. Quite a diferent ride although the Turanzas seemed to be a bit less "cushiony" as far as the handling is concerned.
28000 miles of mostly long distance driving on the original tires!!!!!
got them at Mavis for 159.99 a pop as well!!!!

Yeah, most of the negative reception RFT technology gets by BMW owners is due to the lousy Turanzas that BMW chose to put as OEM on non-sports e9x cars. Haven't heard anyone here complain yet about the Conti RFTs and I have had a set of ContiWinterContact RFT snow tires for 6 months now and have 0 complaints, they are great in snow and dry and noise is minimal to my ears.
