Will a ews chip work on a non ews car

Hello, my car is down because i don't have the proper software. I found a ews chip(silver label) but i have a red label ecu. Will this work? thanks

Nope, won't work.

You can try, but I seriously doubt it'd work. EWS is as you know car protection, and if it dosent' get the right signal it won't turn over the engine

From your thread title, you want to use a EWS chip on your car which doesn't have EWS?
