Hello guys,
I have a quick question for you:
What brake pads should i buy both front and rear? from what shop online (the faster shipping the better)?
If you could recommend me good brake pads for a reasonable price I will be very thankful.
Its a 96 BMW E36 328 4D.
Thank you all in advance!

choose the right one for you. The OEM brands are all good for your application. Ex. Textar is the same brand as you would buy at the dealer.
If you can find PBR Axxis Ultimate Ceramics, those will work great, if you do it right, there won't be much noise.

I just put these on my 98 328, good price and good parts. The pads are 'ceramic technology' are known to be low dust. I'll know shortly, I washed and waxed today and have some miles to drive tonight, if the wheels are clean in the morning I'll be happy. Shipping took less than a week with problems on their end (powere outage) but kept checking for me. Very pleased with their service. They're in Harrisburg Pa. Just a short distance from you.

Did about 70 mi last nite with no more dust on the wheels than on the rest of the car. Am still very satisfied with the quality and sevice from BimmerZone.

Haven't done any 'hard' braking yet but everything is good so far. I think the pads are a semi metalic/ceramic combo. I had 4 people in the car last night and all felt solid.

Thank you all. I got the Brembo set with new disks. Does anyone know if there are any schemes or info on how to do the change of disks, brake pads and sensors?

Check the DIY section at the top of this forum. You'll need a 7mm allen head socket to remove the guide pins and a 6mm allen head for the set screw that holds the discs to the hubs. Get a Bentley manual, and a hand impact driver and some PB Blaster. Removing the lower rear shock mount will make things easier. Make sure the parking brake is released before trying to remove the rear rotors. The disc will most likely be rusted to the hub, so have a big hammer handy.
