eBay is not good for headlights.
Check out DDM Tuning, they run kickass kits on occasion, I think they have an Apexcone kit going now.
yah they got a sale going. check'em out ASAP
i got a set from them!
Me too, got the Birthday Bash kit they had last month. Hope it arrives today.

The price sounds a little too good to be true...is this just an amazing deal or do I get what I pay for?

Amazing deal.
Apexcone is DDM's branded lights, they are roughly on par with Depo.
Last month it was $135 for Depo's with HID, hopefully mine will show up today. It does end up coming to more once you add in the 55w upgrade, LaminX, and Demon Eyes, but it's still an exceptional price.

30000k? Geezus...
Thats the HID "temperature", 6000k is very very white with a slight blue tint, above that it gets more and more blue. 30000k would be very blue indeed.
Look up HID Temperature on your favorite search engine.
Slim just means it's the new slim digital ballasts.

Those Apexcones from DDM Tuning look like a great deal. I have a few questions for those that replaced the stock lights:
1. Are they truly plug-n-play? I mean just remove the screws/nuts from the stock lights, unplug the electrical harness(es), remove stock lights, put in new lights, replace screws and plug in harness?
2. Does it cause a "headlight" error on the OBC (or any other problems)?
I researched Angel Eyes a while ago and cannot quite remember which to get. What is recommended from the three options: Predator Chromium, Predator Orion or DDE Plus? I remember something about cold-start problems or something like that.
Thanks

From what I read it appears the 35w HIDs may throw a LBF (but new harnesses may correct it??), so would 55w HIDs not cause the problem?
I am concerned about going to 55w due to the extra amount of light. I do not want lights that are too bright plus do not want to possibly be pulled over (and have non-DOT headlights, or at least I think they are non-DOT). Has anyone with 55w HIDs had any kind of issues with too much light? Is it noticeably different than 35w and also the stock halogens?
Also just trying to find out if the Apexcones from DDM Tuning are truly plug-n-play. Do you have to mount a ballast somewhere?
Thanks
