My right rear deck speaker is blown so I want to put in two new rear deck speakers.
I have the HK 10 speaker stock system. I would like to buy something that goes in just like the old one's come out...in other words, I want speakers that work, will last, and are easy to put in and compatible with my stock system.
Thanks.

JL Stealth Boxes FTW......
Speaker in front for the Sound Stage, Non-Directional Bass in Back, And keeps the Trunk Room. You have to find used ones cause I think they are out of production. (some were recently in the Audio Classifieds here)

All you need is a pair of 6x9 2 or 3 way speakers. You can spend anywhere from $40 to $300 for the pair. The more you spend the better the sound. The only thing that might get tricky is that the factory 'pods' that hold the stock speakers don't have much room for speakers with larger-than-stock magnets. In other words, if you buy a high-end pair of 6x9s you 'may' have to modify the baskets in order to fit the new speakers. This is farily straight forward though, and will not be visible from within the cabin.
