Equip your BMW with LED Technology Angel Eyes from MYCARR.

http://www.europeanautosource.com/images/vendors/mycarr/led/mbmw/mycarrled01.jpg (http://www.europeanautosource.com/product_info.php?products_id=1852)

Originally debuted on the 2001 5-series and M5, Angel Eyes became a signature lighting upgrade for all future BMWs. Now you can easily equip your BMW with the same look, but at a much brighter LED light output when finished and without external inverters to short out.

No fancy names, uneeded hype or reboxed product - these are manufactured by MYCARR and will arrive in MYCARR boxes.

Appearance
A light-emitting diode, usually called an LED, is a semiconductor diode that emits incoherent narrow-spectrum light when electrically biased in the forward direction of the p-n junction, as in the common LED circuit. This effect is a form of electroluminescence. A LED is usually a small area light source, often with extra optics added to the chip that shapes its radiation pattern. LEDs are often used as small indicator lights on electronic devices and increasingly in higher power applications such as flashlights and area lighting.

MYCARR Angel Eyes produce a white light using an array of 30 LEDs spaced evently apart for a uniform look, giving a slight blue tint, which matches most Xenon maps for an OEM look and are very bright - these can even be seen in daytime. You will immediately know another vehicle with a set after yours are installed.

OEM Look
MYCARR halos feature a sleeved highly polished ring around the circuit board, giving a thicker more OEM look when on or off. Since LEDs are directional, there is no "bleedoff" in light direction allowing for maximum light output.

Safety
A Heavy duty wiring harness is included to make installation quick and painless, while adding safety to your install. No light boxes or lamp sources are used unlike older kits. Installation takes about 1 hour and will be one of the favorite mods on your BMW.

Brightest Angel Eye rings on the market
MYCARR Angel eyes can be seen from well over 100 feet away in pure daylight - they are BRIGHT. Using high-powered LED technology, these are the brightest on the market. With a highly polished ring engineered to emulate the OEM ring when not lit, these will look as if your BMW were equipped with Angel Eyes from factory. Kits are engineered using high quality components and are rated at over 20,000 hours.

Remote feature
MYCARR angel eyes feature a remote feature that will automatically dim the rings when you enter or leave the vehicle. Unlocking the vehicle will emit a "fade in" and will fade out when the vehicle is locked or if left dormant for over 15 minutes to prevent battery drainage.

LIFETIME Guarantee
There's nothing worse than having a kit that will not work, for those that have purchased other kits elsewhere and have dealt with frustrating return processed or no warranty at all, we feel your pain. eas backs up all MYCARR Angel Eye kits with a limited lifetime warranty, making this the first and last set you will purchase for your BMW. if you should ever experience a problem with your kit, we will be there to help.

I just wish you offered them in a pure white colour. Not a fan of the blue tinge with either the Chromiums or the LEDs.

I prefer the chromiums over the orions, but even the chromiums are too bright for my taste.

There is no difference, is widely known these kits are the MYCARR brand - the "orion" is simply a name.

The prices on the site are 119 and 89 for full kit and upgrade kit. So does that mean it will be 50 off those price once the pictures are up?

Also you mention that you can upgrade from chromium to the mycarr with just the rings. Does that mean that the ballast between the two brands are the same or will I lose performance with the chromium ballast.
Another question I have is daytime visibility. I noticed that the mycarr AEs are quite a bit more blue than the preds so I wonder how it would look in the daytime outside.
Just one more question now. Since these rings are made by leds placed together, can you see that they are leds? I would assume that they are not very noticable at night but I wonder if you were closer up in the day time and given that you did not know that they are leds.
Thanks
Just checking before I place my order :)

That's correct - we have a few slots open for the taking still. However we have shipped a LOT of kits in the past week, so get in quick.

There are no ballasts needed with the LED versions. Only the wiring harness is retained if upgrading. You can tell these are LEDs by their light output - they're a bit brighter than CCFLs.

Links are helpful and informative - we have an ongoing discussion going on here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=978699

This is an in-depth explanation of the CCFL and LED versions as well as manufacturers on the market with comparison photos/videos. This should put any future comparisons to rest as the products are 99% the same. This now levels the playing field and forces vendors to work on merit & customer service rather than claiming a "niche" product as evidenced in the past.

In the end, we've at least seen better pricing from the competition since our introduction on these products since there is no longer a monopoly in the lighting market, making it a win/win situation for all.

good to hear. Do you have instructions as to how to use this wiring harness? lol

We have put together a 10-page instruction manual for installation of the MYCARR Angel Eye kit on an e46 M3. Steps will go over all needed procedures and give 2 variables for operation: Always on vs Switched on.

MYCARR Angel Eye Install Instruction Download link (requires Adobe Acrobat): http://www.europeanautosource.com/support/mycarre46prefacelift_instructions.pdf

Instructions are exactly the same for the MYCARR LED kits, just skip the part with the inverters since these are not needed.

Alright, I'll look it over and install it sometime this week and send you pics. I don't know if I'll be able to use this harness since my battery is in the rear but there may be instructions for it. I'll look and see. But as of now, I see that the rings are exactly the same size.

Sorry if i asked repeated questions or already answered questions.

But, do you have these for OEM Xenion headlights for a 99' E39? If so, does the kit come standard with the dimmer option, or is that an upgrade?

Please send me a quote for a set shipped to 98144.

Thanks
