Wow, just got off the phone with dealer, said MF I quoted was to high???

I quoted a MF .0023 on a 2008 335i Coupe and he said it was high? I said really, what should it be? He said his is a little lower. I told him that .0023 is the base rate for March, and then he told me that I was getting quoted to high. Is there any truth to this at all? He wouldn't actually tell me what the MF was, can a Dealer go below the Base Rate?

No. They can ADD to the base rate, but they cannot lower it. The base rate is supplied by BMWFS.

He either wasn't looking at the right rates when you talked to him, or the ones you found on the internet are wrong.

Is it possible he was looking at April's number? I don't know how far in advance they get their numbers. Anyway, take the lower number and let them fight to correct it down the line, maybe you'll get something extra out of the deal.
