Curious if anyone has these, how is their experience, and if they are using them on a daily driver?

I have them on a 03 325xi and though they make the car look nice, the ride is terrible on 19s, bearable on 18s.

Great!
Do you have any pictures?
I have 17" style 5's.
I am hoping the ride will be good for my family.
Thanks!

Do both the 325xi and the 330i have the H&R coilovers?
Do you regret have the H&R's because the ride is so bad?
Did you install the H&R's yourself?
Thank you!

Only the 325xi is on coilovers, the 330i is on stock suspension. I do somewhat regret not going with a spring/shock combo, but for xi models, that setup only brings the car to about sport package height and, at the time, I wanted to go a bit lower.
If I were to do it over again, I'd just go with Eibach Pro-kit just to get rid of the massive xi gap. That's basically what I'm going to do with the 330i.
Oh and yes, I did install the H&Rs myself. I'm not sure about E39s, but E46 suspension is pretty easy to work with.

When you say Eibach Pro-kit, are you refering to the Eiback coilover kit?
Or just the springs?
If just the springs, then what shocks?

Just springs. I think the ZSP and ZHP shocks are stiff enough to handle slightly stiffer springs so I probably won't go aftermarket until they're worn. Only have 40k on the 330i so far.

What shocks do you like?
Koni adjustables?

Yeah, I'd go with Koni yellow adjustables or FSD.

I was going to get the Koni adjustables, but I got a great deal on the H&R coilovers.
Do you know what size spacer I would need for the front, in order to lower the car?
Thanks!

Why do you need a spacer to lower the car?

According to Tire Rack,
http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?make=H%26R&model=Street-Perf.+Coil-Over
A note used to be listed on the site, but the price and note has been wiped clean!
There is suppose to be clearance prob's with their tire and either the strut body or coils.
If you have OEM wheel/tire setup that has 20mm offset, you may need spacers to get clearance on the fronts.

A little old, but I thought I'd chime in. I have these coilovers on my E36 325i with 17x8" rims (et40, stock is et38) and 225/45/17 tires. If I lower the front any more than 1.25" the locknut makes contact with the inner lip of the rims and the lower coils with the inner sidewall of the tires. The car's lowered 1.25" front and rear in my signature.

That is why H&R recommends using spacers...
