Is this size wheel going to be a problem? Opinions...?

I have an E36 M3. Just bought 18 8/9.5 with a 38 front offset and a 43 rear offset. I also have the pss9s sitting in my trunk. Performance is what im aiming for. Am I going to have major problems with this set up?

I want to lower the car for the simple fact of gaining the best handling. The tire size was going to be staggered of course: 235/40zr/18 and 255/40zr/18. Pretty much have it in my head i have to roll and pull to achieve my goal.

Thanks for the advice. What set up do you have? Any suggestions on ride height? I already planned to barley drop the rear but eliminate wheel gap in the front. I also planned on having the wheels flush with the fenders but thats another piece ill do later.
