Tire Sizing OEM designation?

I meant wheel sizing, I don't know why I said tires...

I'm looking at buying some BMW wheels from this guy who lives about 2 hrs away but I want to verify the size before I drive all the way there to get them...

Here are the numbers from the wheel that he gave me:

BMW 1095958 7Jx16H2 IS46

I'm guessing that it's a 16x7 rim, but he says it's a 17x8 rim. Any help is appreciated. And the only OEM wheels I could find on a BMW wheel site that looked like the one's he is selling are 16x7. Thanks.

You're correct, that's a 7x16" wheel with 46mm offset, and H2 (double) hump profile.

He gave you the wrong part number, the correct one is 36111095058 and its a 16" x7" Style 42 monobloc light alloy wheel of cross-spoke design. Offset is +46mm suits E46 and E36 models.
