I was wondering if anyone could help me find a template to print out, 4x100, and other common lug pattern templates,

the only thing I was able to find was a template for trailer wheels... but it did have like 5 different 5 lug patterns.

Thanks,
Mulho

Don't need a pattern, just use geometry. Take 4 circles and measure 100mm between the center of one to the other.

yeah I know I have the option of just measuring all of the patterns out I was just hoping maybe someone had a printable template I could use.

like I said, all I was able to find was this http://www.easternmarine.com/em_store/trailertires/bolt_circle.html

Buddy... get a compass, ruler, pencil and a piece of paper. Set the compass to the correct radius using the ruler, mark a centre point and draw the bolt circle. For 4 bolts, put a straight edge thru the centre, mark the two points on circle where it intersects. Then set the compass to an arbitrary radius greater than the bolt circle radius, and draw arcs using the two points (towards the centre of the bolt circle). Draw the line thru the two intersections of these arcs and where this line intersects your bolt circle is where your last 2 bolts go. Alternatively, you could use a protractor, although in my opinion, the perpendicular bisector approach is easier to do accurately. Another even easier alternative for 4 bolts is graph paper. If you want to do 5 bolts, it's still possible to do it without a protractor, but it's not quite as easy.

I don't know about you, mulholland, but this was grade 6 geometry for us here.

If you really want templates, I'll draw them up... for a price.

yeah you do robmpulse. I'm just about tired of seeing you randomly popping into threads without any information, just a bunch of crappy brief "ass" or "you suck" posts to people. Someone needs a time out...

May I ask what these measurements are for?

it's a secret...

Like I said, I could go measure and draw them out, but printable templates would be convenient.

THIS POST WAS OFF TOPIC, BUT NOT USELESS. KINDA NO DIFFERENT THAN WHEN PEOPLE POST TO SEARCH WITH NO THREAD SPECIFIC INFORMATION. I WAS SIMPLY TELLING THE GUY THAT POSTED BEFORE ME THAT HE WAS BEING AN ASS. (SAME WORD I USED IN MY OTHER POST IN A DIFFERENT TOPIC) ONLY I WAS DOING IT SARCASTICALLY. HENCE, NO USE OF THE WORD "ASS". (SEE WHAT I DID THERE?)

MY POST OF "ASS" (IN THE OTHER THREAD) WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. I WAS ASKED WHAT I THOUGHT THE RIMS LOOKED LIKE. GUESS WHAT, IN MY OPINION, THEY LOOKED LIKE ASS.

IT WAS MY OPINION. KINDA LIKE YOUR OPINION THAT I NEED A TIME OUT. ;)

And Just To Make It Clear, I Was Defending You In This Thread. I Was Making Reference To The Guy That Posted "why Don't You Just Measure It And Draw A Diagram With A Ruler, Etc And Use 6th Grade Math.

;)

The blue one is 4 lug. Not printable, but I've seen them for sale at car swap meets- or I'm sure you can find them online elsewhere.

You don't want to use a computer printed template for something this simple because most consumer printers are not very accurate or linear.

I just have this fear that youre trying to make your own spacer... ...Heres a tip: For $7 Pepboys sells 4x100 spacers... ...that would hake a good template
