I found a set of stock M3 wheels, I think the style is 68, double 5 spoke. I want to put them on my '95 non M car. They were on a 2002 but I was just told that 2002 M3 should have come with 18's. I've seen this style on non M cars before and they look great but I'm not sure if they will fit if they were actually from a 2002. Does anyone know if the wheels I'm talking about will fit? Front tires 225/45/17. Rears 245/40/17.

Those tires sizes will fit fine on any E36 but E46M3 rims have a 25mm offest in rear and they will not fit an E36.

So did the E46 M3 actually come stock with the style 68 17" wheel? I found another add that says these wheels will fit also but am very sceptical. Here's the add.
This is for a set of four BMW Factory 17" Style 68 wheels. These wheel are the staggered set at 17x7.5 and 17x8.5. These wheels were removed from a 2door E46 car but will fit any 3 Series car from 1992 to current. The BMW factory part # is 36112229180 and 36112229135. These wheels have a dealer list price of $1904. THESE ARE NOT REPLICA's these are OEM BMW WHEELS. STOCK ON HAND IS ALWAYS CHANGING! PLEASE CALL FOR CURRENT Stock!!

Sorry, I didnt answer that question. AFAIK, the E46 came with 18". The rims you are talking about were not E46M3 rims.
Style 68 is an OEM Sport package rim for non-M. I have them on my 330i. Those will fit fine on your car. The have a tiny ///M badge on them but they are not M3 rims.
