View Full Version : BOV for 04?

I did some looking around and from what i gather one cannot put a BOV (blow off valve) on the S-charged mini only on the turbo'd? Is this true?

From what i could find it was something to do with a software/sensor conflict?

Im going to be getting an 04 s relatively soon and the BOV was on one of the first things that was going to be on the list along with UDP ECU and Intake.

I was looking forward to the TSSSSHHHHHT sound.:(

Anyone know what the story is?

No dump valve. The supercharger recycles the boosted air back into the intake.

where as other systems recycle the air back into the intake manifold? so since this one goes into the intake no one makes a bov for it or its not possible? Just looking for some clarity here

the supercharger whine more than makes up for the lack of 'pshh'.

your first mods for power should be intake, exhaust, and, most importantly, a supercharger reduction pulley.
