The wife and I are selling the M3. This has been posted before and I had meant to put up new pictures. But as of the original posting, we had 2 deaths in the family that kind of put a damper on things. So anyway, we finally got the M3 out of the garage in order to take pics. There are 89 photos in snapfish. Some are posted here.

1999 M3 Coupe, WBSBG9334XEY82651, 87xxx miles
Asking $16,495
I am the original owner and I ordered the car "to my specs".
Clear title and I have the title in hand as I paid for the car in cash.

Techno Violet / Black Leather Manual “Vader” Seats (Manual seats saves 150 lbs, I believe)
- 5-Speed Manual
- Cruise-Control
- Rear Wing
- Trip-Computer
- Heated Seats
- Sunroof
- 6CD Changer
- M-Contour II Wheels
- 225/45Z-17 and 245/40Z-17 with NEW Kumho ECSTA MX Z rated tires

K&N Filter
Hawk Ceramic “Dust Free” front and rear brake pads ($160)
Ground Control Koni Adjustable Suspension – F/R are top mount adjustable ($688)
Ground Control Rear Shock Mounts ($109)
Vorshlag Camber Plates ($340)
Stromung Exhaust ($675)
Fire Extinguisher ($150) mounted in the trunk - admittedly, this was more for looks.

NOT INCLUDED - 18 x 8.5 CSL Replicas (Velocity Motoring) with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 225/40Z-18 and 245/35Z-18. Pics are posted below, but we were planning to save these for when we get the 135. We can be convinced to sell these with the car.
NOT INCLUDED - Hardwired Valentine One Radar Locator + Concealed Display ($440 does not come with car, but this is negotiable)
NOT INCLUDED - Zeitronix LCD Data Logger: AFR, Boost/Vacuum, EGT, Lambda ($610 does not come with car, but this is negotiable)
NOT INCLUDED - Zeitronix AV Warning + Trigger Box ($80 does not come with car, but this is negotiable)

- Car is immaculate both inside and out.
- No accidents, body work or paintwork - see that all the "serial numbers" match on all body panels as shown in the snapfish pics.
- Oil changes were done with Mobil 1 Synthetic (0W40).
- Redline 75W90 gear oil is used in the differential.
- The car is garaged and we are non-smokers. We don't have pets either.
- Car does have paint chips in the front, but much less so than what the mileage would indicate. I just did the "Dr. Colorchip" on it and the results were quite amazing - see the pics!!! Interior is absolutely immaculate.
- No shoe has ever stepped on the floormats and carpet since I use “Weathertech” mats.
- The leather seats do NOT show wear typical for what the mileage would indicate since my a$$ is not wide enough to affect the side bolsters of the vader seats. And thankfully, my wife's a$$ is not wide either. But you be the judge with the pics.
- I also have a "video walkaround" of the car. It's "large" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXSUjdIk7GU

- I have ALL records down to each gas fill-up (seriously!) of the car since new.
- I have a 3 inch binder that contains all service records from the dealership and ALL items/receipts purchased for the car (tires, shocks, brake pads, rotors, etc.).
- Blackstone Labs "oil analysis" was done for the past 4 oil changes and yielded great results. Copies are available. Why? Because I'm a neurotic geek and I have done the same for the Porsche, Audi and by bike.
- Compression test was done last year yielding 173, 173, 170, 168, 171, 173 over an average of 2 runs.

About me…I’m neurotic about my toys. I don’t “lend them” to anyone – not friends or family. To give you perspective, when I was a child, I did not want to share my Matchbox cars since I didn’t want others to “scratch them”. I keep all items that come with my electronics and toys including boxes and all paperwork. My electronics, cars, hobbies, etc. are all in mint condition. I’m happy that way. I have been an active BMWCCA member for 15 years. I was the editor of the Genesee Valley and Boston Chapter “Bimmer” newsletter and can provide references on how I take care of my cars.

Pics are available on request. Please send me your e-mail address so I can add you to the snapfish website.

Thanks for responding.

But why would I want an S2000 when I have a Boxster S?

:)

Thanks anyway.

Because you spent 55k on garbage:nono

Yeah...ummm..."ok". :rolleyes And I assume your "Civic" torque rice machine is much better. But hey, you and I are entitled to our opinions and I'll leave it at that. But, of course, your "garbage" comment is quite uninformed. Call it "overpriced" - sure, I may agree. Calling it "garbage", tells me you don't know any better and are just "hating"... But again, you can have your opinions...

I would love to see pictures. I am looking to buy something just like this, in the next month or so, and this is in my price range. Get pics up asap please.

You are in Boston? That might be do-able since I am in North Jersey. Ever come down to Jersey/NYC?

Thanks for the note, Sean. Please send me your e-mail address for pics. I do have relatives in the NJ area, but usually drive my other cars there. I don't want to incur additional miles on the M3 if I don't have to.

post some pics

Notice the last line that reads "Pics are available on request. Please send me your e-mail address so I can add you to the snapfish website.". I have to do this since I am running out of memory for posting pics. :( And snapfish can host much more pics that I will ever be able to post here. Is there an easier way?

"Everest Auto"? You seem like a "used car dealer". You have a total of 2 posts looking for cars. No, thank you. I mean no offense, but I am only interested in dealing with private parties and am not looking into paying a "middle man".

why don't you post some pics? Please Pm them to me if you can't post but you will probably get more relevant info on interest by getting pics out there. I hate these feeler ads. It is like a tease.....I have something really cool and it is so cool I may not want to sell it unless you are really nice....

I have bought 6 M3s for my family and friends in the last 3 years. I am looking for one now and I am willing to fly some where to pick up a nice example. So help a guy out, decide if you want to sell it and post some pics. Since you are wound so tight I am sure you won't be overly sensitive to my request. I love to buy cars from guys like you. You are really meticulous with your stuff... to the point where some of your friends get nervous around your stuff! I understand cause I am one of those guys too.

PS the Boxster is a far more balanced car than the M3 or the S2000, so drive it with a smile on your face and don't defend your choices! Cheers! Now make a choice and post a pic!;)

I certainly very much enjoyed your post... the point about my friends being nervous around my stuff is actually accurate! Your post brought a smile to my face and the timing was good...unfortunately, I am not able to post pics at this time since I am not at the home computer where my pics are. I have had a death in the family and there are many things that need to be taken care of away from home. I do intend to take more pics - and hopefully, be able to post them this weekend... So apologies for the delay, but I will post pics and send links to everyone who has asked for it.

After having 2 deaths in the family, selling the car took a backseat to more important things. But, we're back into the groove of things now. THANKS to everyone who e-mailed condolences! Much appreciated! Here are pics with the CSL replicas. 89 pics were posted in snapfish. Send me your e-mail so I can add you to view them.

Can you talk about the recent maintenance done or whether anything needs to be done?

Sounds like a great car!

I'll add this to the top as well. All brakes are practically new. Once my wife and I "discovered" how well the Ceramic pads worked on her car, we put it on the M3 as well. We just got tired of cleaning wheels all the time.

The car, of course, has only had 93 octane (Massachusetts) and as I stated before, I have every gas record since April 30, 1999. Gas was...$1.22 for 93 octane!!!!!!!!

Oil wise, I use Mobil 1 0W40 Synthetic. Oil was recently changed at 87577 miles with Mobil1 0W40 Synthetic along with both belts changed. Fluids in the diff were changed to Redline 75W90 at 44700 miles.

I did "Blackstone-labs.com" oil analysis for the past 4 oil changes and the results were great. I also did a "compression test" - all cylinders were within 5 psi: yielding 173, 173, 170, 168, 171, 173 over an average of 2 runs.

Last year when I looked at the AC microfilter, it was relatively clean so I put it back. We have a few cars to drive so we haven't been driving the M3 as much. So I still have the new AC microfilter. This should be installed at this point.

I guess its destiny as you have oil records from April 30th, My birthday. Really like the car and the history but Have 2 BMW's to sell before I can get another. Best of luck and I hope you still have it for me a in a couple months.

Actually, it was a "gas fillup" day. So now you can say that on 4/30/99, 93 octane gas in Mass was $1.22!!!!!

Wow, that's a nice car in the vid. I was cracking up when you picked up that peice of lint on the carpet and you didn't get it the first time so you went for it a second... MAN you ARE neurotic. ;)
