so since, I'm now employeed by Bmw I'm totally taking advantage of it and leasing a 335i sedan. I just want a few thoughts and comments on how she is gonna look. I'm shooting for a Aug-Sept ship date so i can have a lil more cash down so I can buy her after the lease is over.

08 335i sedan 6spd manual
Deep green metallic
Beige Dakota Leather w Light polar natural wood trim
Sport Package
Cold Package
No Idrive
comfort access
sat radio w ipod/usb hookup (I dont have an Ipod but everyone else does)
M aerodynamic kit
rubber floor mats
Bmw portable Nav (probably a tom tom w a roundel slapped on it)
total build price is $47,776...

I'm ditching the idea of 135i for the 3 b/c its only 200lbs heavier. I miss having a 4 door vehicle. Mods are already out for it, and its a bigger sleeper than the 1 will be.

Anyone auto-x their e90s?? my e30 gets a workout I'm sure ill take the e90 out for a spin, how can i expect her to handle w/o a Lsd..only if i could just bolt in my 3.73lsd out of the e30:stickoutt *been auto-xing 3yrs+ I'm a damn good driver too*

I know I will eventually buy this car and mod her to hell so I'm already looking into what bits of the 1 bolt on the 3 or what it'll take to get it on there....for example those lovely 6 piston calipers the 135i gets :devillook

I think that dark green is the best color ever. Just make sure you want to keep it a while. It is not the easiest color to sell. And yes, the BMW portable nav is a Garmin Nuvi with the BMW name on it.

+1 on the DGM color! After careful thought, I went with that because everyone around here has black, silver, blue, blah, blah.

I went with Steptronic to switch it up. I have been driving stick for the last 3 years.

Cheers

Dark green is for old people and is out of style now. It was cool when my Grandma had an E38 740i (in 1995).

I'd be getting a 135 if I were you and I sure wouldn't be wasting my money on an autotragic.

The green with beige interior is really nice. I went with the dark walnut to offset the light beige and it has good contrast.
One thing about it is that it shows dirt pretty easy. If you keep it clean though, it is a perfect green, especially in the bright sun. On a cloudy day it just looks like a very dark green.

if it was out of style they wouldn't be making that color still....I want my 335i to stand out...like someone said, black, red, silver, white seem to be the main colors i always see a 3 in...I want that color b/c in certain light it looks almost black, I like being out of the ordinary. The only other bmw model i liked that color on was the e34 5 series, which I wouldn't be too surprised if the 2 were comparable in terms of physical size. I am getting the 335i on the employee lease rate. I would have to wait 6mos-1yr before the employee disc hit the 1 series. I'll be keeping her for awhile. It'll be cool having an e90 335i sedan and an e30 335i coupe

I walked past a deep green 335i coupe on my way into the dealership to sign purchase order for my crimson red 335i coupe. Although not my color, I was actually impressed with the way it looked. Also, next door neighbors have a Jag X-type (British Racing Green) and Porsche 911 (Forest Green), both similar to the deep green and they look great.

Green is 1990s, it's a nice color on older cars...just not my bag. But if you love it....go for it.

yep, thats what im goin with...it was down to either the green metallic or the standard red w black leather and aluminum trim...it would of been hot too, but i already have a red car don't want two of the same color.

Great choice, I passed an e90 today that was DGM, and had to pull over to take a closer look! Can you tell I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my car!!?? It was overcast and it looked well, dark green but almost black. When the sun is out, its like a brilliant emerald. Very sharp IMO

Your logic is faulty my friend. Just because they make dark green doesn't mean anyone actually buys it. We've sold one (yes one) car that I can remember in the last year in that color.

If you don't believe me that BMW still makes cars in colors that don't sell look up "byzanz" or "sea foam green".

It won't be 6 months before the 135 is a CEL eligible car.

Unique colors usually mean it will be harder to sell, but if you lease it is a moot point. Color is a very personal choice, you get what you like in the end. If you really want to stand out, get this one:

Well, it is a unique color for sure, which I suppose explains why the barstewards at ModBargains still have no reflector replacement kit for it (or anything else in Deep Green for that matter).
The only color I would have chosen over the Deep Green is the Stratus Grey, but my dealer wouldn't let me special order it.

Also realize that if your Sales Manager is anything like mine he may not order a car for you in deep green for a Center Employee Lease - he's going to have to sell that in two years anyway.
