Hello all, I've been a member of this site for a long time with no BMW and a few weeks ago I just got my very first one! A Premium Package '01 530i.

I just picked up a set of RS-GT's for a steal and they were from a E46 M3. What i've researched on tirerack is that the rears will fit but i'm not too sure about the fronts. I don't see a offset measurement on the front wheels but if these wheels were purchased from tirerack then the wheel size is 19x8.5 ET35

What my question is, can I fit these with a small spacer on the E39 at all? I really do not want to give these up just because of something like this and I cant find any other info in search so I figured i'd ask all of you first.

Thanks for your time!

If you can confirm the exact sizes and offsets, we can start from there.

It will say everything on the back.

Ok, looks like they are ET35 offset.

You need a spacer in the front. The rears should be 19x10 +25 if they are off a m3.

Also, the centerbore is to small. The rears are most likely PFS (bbs centering rings) so you can just get the right size for e39.
I dont think the fronts use PFS so you have to either enlarge the centerbore ($10) or get spacers that are hubcentric to the wheels on one side and the e39 hub on the other side.

Thanks for all the help guys!

I have located a 20mm spacer for the fronts that will adapt my 74mm hub to the smaller E46 hub size. I mounted the rears and found that the rears touch the wheel liner on the rear with the 275 tire so I think a 10mm spacer should do the trick on the rears?

M13, I'd love to have a spare but I already have enough wrapped up in this project!

I'll get some pics when i'm all done with everything.

Just an update on my wheels, there is a place on ebay that has the correct front spacers with the E46 centerbore in the front and the E39 hub on the rears with a set of 10 lugnuts for $95 bucks! Once I ordered them I found that EAS has them for 390! So needless to say, I am very happy with them. :redspot
