Navigation search

I've been driving 328i '08 for three months.
But, I could not find the search option other than "information" on navigation.

We should first find the category that I guess the one I want is in.
Should we do that to search?

Can we just type in the store name and find where it is?
Anyone knows?

I have that problem to man I put the store name and put a radius of 25 miles knowing that there is one within 10 miles (but dont know the exact location) but the search says that there are no results. Thats somethin i want to know is how to use the search feature and actually have it find something.

How do you even search? I wish I could find that feature. Is there a way just to type in like, "Big 5 Sporting Goods" and have it search for all those in your area of location?

You can search by points of interest. Go to the Nav menu and select Information.

You can select information on your current location, your destination or on a new location.

So say you're from Buffalo and you want to find a fast food restaurant in Atlanta. If you're in Atlanta, you select "On Location", then you can select Hotels and Restaurants, you can get more detailed down to Coffee Shops and you will get names and the distance from where you are currently by closest to farthest away from where you are.
